DESCRIPTIONS:
Acalypha Wilkesiana Yellow is a South Pacific native shrub is known for its magnificent display of colour. With splashes of yellow, orange and green. Acalypha Wilkesiana Yellow will provide a stunning contrast of colour in any garden or landscape. It is commonly used as a large informal hedge, screen or as a specimen shrub. The large leaves make this Acalypha Wilkesiana Yellow ideal for tropical garden. Prefers a sunny, warm position and will tolerate light filtered shade. Plant them in well-drained soil with addition of quality organic matters to promote healthy growth. However, it is hardy and tolerate any types of well-drained soil. A Waterwise plant once established, however, occasional watering is recommended during long dry periods in summer. Slow release fertiliser can be use in early spring or summer. Acalypha Wilkesiana Yellow will grow up to a height and width of 3 metres but can be maintain at a smaller size if desired.
