An ideal and popular choice for those seeking a screening plants for that extra privacy.  Acmena Smithii Goodbye Neighbours is commonly known as Lilly Pilly and has a dense green and bronze foliage that will produce small white flowers throughout the year.  These flowers will also attractive to some birds. This native is best to use for hedging or screening as it can be prune to the desired look.  Plant them in an area of full sun to part sun in moist free draining soil.  This variety is tolerant to most conditions including drought, wind, salt and light frost once established.  It is also highly resistant to psyllids and requires very little maintenance.   After planting, water them regularly until fully established. Prune as required.
