COMMON NAME:  Heart LEAF Flame Pea

Chorizema Cordatum is a small evergreen Australian Native shrub with leathery heart shaped cordate leaves and has a small multicoloured pea shaped flowers in tones of orange-pink, red and yellow.   Flowers are produced from winter through to summer.  This easy to grow ornamental plant is suitable for garden beds, borders, containers and can be grown as a climbers if given adequate support.  Plant them in a part shaded to full sun position with moist well drained soil. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
