                      PLANT DESCRIPTIONS 

Gardenia Augusta Buttons  is a compact,  rounded,  low maintenance evergreen shrub with lush glossy dark green foliage.   It produces masses of highly perfumed semi double white flowers throughout spring and summer.   Ideal for large containers or pots. Fragrant borders, low hedges, mass planting.   Once established Buttons is drought hardy as well as being tolerant of both heat and frost.   Naturally tidy shape and very low maintenance once established. Plant in full sun to part shade in a rich, well drained soil.   Gardenia Buttons will grow to a height of 1.5m tall and a width of 1m wide.
