DESCRIPTIONS:
Grevillea Pink Profusion is a beautiful Grevillea bred by Kings Park and Botanic Gardens is an outstanding performer baring masses of soft pink flowers which attract native birds. Pink Profusion was created with the view that by growing plants adapted to our environment, they will use less water, less fertiliser and provides a habitat for native fauna in our gardens and landscapes. Having a naturally compact growing habit makes Pink Profusion ideal as a border along path, fence line and driveways as well as garden beds. Mass planted in parks and gardens is always a feature. Grevillea have exotic flowers in many colours, and Pink Profusion in no exception. Each flower heads is made up of small flowers which are densely crowded onto heads or spikes with their most conspicuous feature being the long styles which are first bent over like a hair pin and then straighten out.
Being a variety that flowers virtually all-year-round makes this a very decorative plant in any garden. Pink Profusion enjoy full sun to part shade, can tolerate many kind of soil as they are very hardy and resilient so almost any well-drained soil is suitable. Once established these tough varieties require occasional watering during the dry hot months. Mulching can help to retain moisture and control weeds in an advantage.
This Grevillea doesn't require trimming but will tolerate a moderate to heavy pruning if required. Grevillea Pink Profusion can reach to a height of 1.5m high and 1.5m wide. Great in rockeries and as a tub specimen. Pink Profusion adds a continuous display of colours to any area.
