DESCRIPTIONS:

Grevillea Woolly Bear Hero is a very compact, soft, mounding ground cover shrub bearing massed waxy pink and white flowers.   The flowering season of this delightful shrub is virtually all year round making it a very desirable plant in many different situations.   Being extremely drought hardy,  this is very useful for mass planting as a groundcover, path edges and great in rockeries style gardens.   Wooly Bear Hero is also suitable on embankments.  Prefers full sun or partly shaded position for best results.  It is a medium frost tolerant and grows well in a range of climates including cool temperate to sub-tropical semi arid and 1st coastal line.  Soil type is neutral acid pH or well drained clay loam and sandy soil are preferred.   Minimal tip pruning to maintain shape is required along with a low P fertiliser as needed. Once established Wooly Bear Hero is Waterwise and needed minimal watering.   Wooly Bear will grow to a height of 10 - 30cm high and a width of 1 - 1.5m wide.
