DESCRIPTIONS:

Carpobrotus Virescens is a colourful and hardy creeping flat ground cover with thick, succulent leaves which can grow to 10cm in length.   Pale white pink and purple ligulate flowers with pale yellow centers, usually about 4-8 cm in diameter are produced in abundance from winter through to summer.   An excellent flat ground cover for rockeries and large coastal and inland plantings.   Carpobrotus Virescens prefers a sunny to partly shaded position and prefers sandy coastal areas.  Liquid fertiliser can be applied at the beginning of spring to encourage fuller flowering.  All purpose fertiliser twice a year will give the plant an additional boost.
