DESCRIPTIONS:

Metrosideros Cream Ridge  is a hardy trunked shrub or small tree that forms glossy green foliage with rich creamy white margin.   During spring and summer  the flowers blooms spectacular crimson pincushion flowers that are made up of fluffy stamens.   This is an excellent shrubs for birds lovers.   It is ideal for hedging or screening as the foliage is incredibly dense.  It will thrive in a sunny position with moist well drained soil.   Once established this variety will tolerate coastal conditions, waterwise and relatively low maintenance.   Water well until established after planting throughout hot, drier periods.   Prune as desired to encourage compact growth habit.   Feed with a long term slow release fertiliser in  late winter or frost is cleared.   Metrosideros Cream Ridge can grow to a height of 3m high and a width of 2.5m wide.
