DESCRIPTIONS:

Thuja Occidentalis Smaragd:  is a native to North America and Canada.  An attractive cone-shaped conifer with dense bright green glossy foliage.  Excellent as a hedge, border or screening plant or use as a specimen plant. Smaragd is also suitable for containers and makes a great living Christmas tree.  Grow in an open sunny position, of well drained soil.  Smaragd is tolerant of cold and humidity conditions and will also tolerate light frost.  Prune to maintain shape in spring.  Thuja Occidentalis Smaragd is a very slow growing conifer variety which grow to a height of approximately 2 metres in 10 years.
