DESCRIPTIONS:  Also known as Wandering Jew, Spiderwort or Inch plant.  It is a popular low maintenance, evergreen plant with striking variegated leaves:

Appearance:  This trailing or hanging baskets plant has fleshy stems and lance-shaped leaves with green, white and pink stripes.

Growth:  it can grow up to 50 cm long and produces small pink blooms in season..

Care:  It is easy to care for and can be grown indoor or outdoors. 

Sunlight:  Prefers bright, indirect sunlight, but can tolerate low light.  Avoid intense afternoon sunlight,  which can scorch the leaves. 

Water:  Allow the top a few Centimeters of soil to dry out before the next watering.  Tradescantia are sensitive to overwatering, so ensure a good drainage system. 

Temperature:  Maintain temperatures between 18-24 degrees Celsius.  Tradescantia Prefers consistent warmth and should be protected from cold winter.

Potting mix:  Use a lightweight, well draining mix, such as a standard indoor plant mix with added perlite.

Pruning:  Lightly prune regularly in the warmer months to maintain shape and size.
