ANIGOZANTHOS "BLACK" 14cm

DESCRIPTIONS:

Anigozanthos "Black" commonly known as "Black Kangaroo Paw", is a unique variety of Kangaroo Paw, distinguished by its black flower stalks and buds, with lime green blooms emerging from them.  It features upright, blue-green, sword-shaped foliage  and is clumping perennial.  This plant also known as "Macropidia fuliginosa and is a monotypic Genus, separate from the other Anigozanthos species. 

The flower stalks typically reach about 1 meter in height.  It thrives in well-drained soil and sunny position, but it can be damaged by frost. The Black Kangaroo Paw  attracts hummingbirds.  While other Kangaroo Paws are known for their red, orange,  yellow, pink or purple flowers, the Back Kangaroo Paw stands out with its unique black and green color combination.
