DESCRIPTIONS:
Asplenium nidus is an epiphytic species of fern native to Australia. It is an evergreen fern that produces an outstanding rosette of thick lanced shaped leaves that are glossy and bright green in colour, and has contrasting dark midribs. It can either be planted in the garden or can be grown to attach itself to other host plants including Cycads, Cyatheas and Dicksonias. Plant in filtered sunlight and keep moist. Water sparingly in winter and frequently in summer. Feed monthly with diluted solution or organic fertiliser. Asplenium Nidus will grow to a height of 1.5m high and 1m wide.
