DESCRIPTIONS:
Korean Buxus / Korean Boxwood Microphylla is a small, dense, evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves that is popular for Hedges, borders, topiary and other landscaping. It has a compact rounded shape.
Mature size:
* 60cm high x 50cm wide
Growth Rate:
* Korean Boxwood is a slow to moderate grower.
Light:
* it can tolerate full sun to part shade, but may turn yellow in full sun.
Soil:
* Prefered well drained, rich soil with a cool root zone. It can adapt to average to poor soil, and various pH levels.
pruning:
* Should be prune in early spring before new growth appears. It helps the plant maintain its shape and improves air circulation.
Fertilising:
*Korean Boxwood benefits from regular fertilisation with a balanced, slow release fertiliser.
Winter:
* During very cold winter, Korean Boxwood may change colour and take on an autumn tone. This is normal and can be caused by cold nights with bright sunny days.
