DESCRIPTIONS:

Calathea Flame Star also known as Prayer Plant, is a striking indoor plant with long, vibrant green leaves and distinctive markings, often resembling flames, and is known for its air - purifying qualities. 

Appearance:

*  Features elongated, evergreen leaves with a mix of light and dark green shades. 

*  The leaves have vibrant red and green hues that resemble flames, adding a dramatic touch. 

*  Some varieties have striking leaf patterns, like the Rattlesnake Plant, with long patterned leaves. 

*  Leaves turn upwards at night, like any other prayer plants.

How to care your Prayer Plant:

*  Prefers bright, indirect light  but avoid direct sunlight. 

*  Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. 

*  Calatheas love higher humidity levels, so consider misting or using humidifier. 

*  Water only when the top soil is dry, but ensure the plant is not sitting in water.

*  Fertilize with diluted foliage fertiliser monthly during the growing season (spring and summer).

*  Use a well-draining potting mix that retains moisture. 

*  Repot the plant every 1-2 years,  or when it becomes root-bound.

Toxicity:

*  Calathea are generally considered NON-TOXIC  to pets.
