Callistemon MacArthur 14cm pot

DESCRIPTIONS:

This Australian Native is relatively new breed of Callistemon,  bred using the popular varieties of Callistemon Little John and Callistemon Captain Cook.  MacArthur has a compact growth habit,  and forms masses of large red bottlebrush flowers through spring.  Callistemon MacArthur is an ideal shrub for hedging, or as a specimen or mass planting.  This particular variety thrives in the area of full sun but will tolerate a partial shade and will grow best in well drained soil.  However, Callistemon MacArthur will tolerate most soil types and conditions and it requires low maintenance.  

This shrubs will respond well to regular pruning after flowering.  It is a Waterwise plant but benefits in extra watering if in sandy soils, dry climate and during summer months.  Callistemon MacArthur will grow to a height of 1.8m tall and a width of 1.5 metres wide.
