Callistemon Macarthur (POT SIZE: 5L)
DESCRIPTIONS:
This Australian native is a relatively new breed of Callistemon. Using the popular varieties Callistemon Little John and Callistemon Captain Cook. Callistemon MacArthur has a compact growth habit and form masses of large red bottlebrush flowers through spring. It is an ideal shrub for hedging or in specimen or mass planting. This particular variety thrive in areas of full sun but will tolerate partial shade and will grow best in well drained soil and tolerate in most soil conditions. Low maintenance and this shrub does respond well to regular pruning after flowering. MacArthur is a Waterwise plant but will benefit from extra watering if planted in sandy soil, dry climate and during summer months. Callistemon MacArthur can grow to a height of 1.8 metres high and a width of 1.5 metres wide.
