Camelia Debutante, is a large upright shrub with attractive glossy dark green foliage and beautiful light pink, medium double peony blooms. They are bountiful flowering plants and hardy. Camelia's are ideal for planting as a specimen or use to create a dense screen or in a pot. Camelia's are ideal for any backyard garden or courtyard and are bird attracting. Producing an abundance of beautiful flower forms.

Soil type: Thrives in well-drained, acidic soil, pH between 5.0 and 6.5. It's also important to ensure the soil is rich in organic matters to improve the soil structure and provides nutrients for the Camelia.
Watering : For young Camelia water them every 2-3 days during dry spells to help them establish a strong root system. For established plants water more sparingly, perhaps every 5 - 7 days depending on the weather and soil moisture.
Fertiliser: A slow release fertiliser formulated for acid-loving plants is generally recommended. These fertiliser are rich in nitrogen and have a low phosphate content which is beneficial for Camelia's.
