DESCRIPTIONS:

Corymbia eximia "Nana", also known as Dwarf Yellow Bloobwood is a compact evergreen tree that provides a striking feature in gardens and landscapes.  It is a smaller version of the Yellow Bloodwood, with a matured height of 3-5 meters high and a width of 2-3 meters wide,  making it suitable for smaller spaces.  It boasts attractive,  broad leaves and a rounded form, with a snarly, mottled bark and creamy white flowers clusters in spring. 

Appearance:

Foliage:

*  Broad, lance-shaped, and often glossy leaves, which can turn a paler Yellow/green in colder months. 

Bark:

*  Rough, tessellated, yellowish-brown to grey bark.  The trunk is often snarly and crooked.

Flowers:

*  Large clusters of creamy-white flowers in spring,  attracting nectar living birds.

Fruits:

*  Medium to large,  barrel-Shaped fruits with three to four valves enclosed. 

Form:

*  Compact,  rounded,  or slightly open canopy.

Mature size:

*  Grows to a mature heights of 3-8 meters high depending on the source, a spread of 2-6 meters wide. 

Plant Uses:

*  Used as a feature tree, bird-attracting gardens, small landscapes and screening. 

Hardiness:

Tolerate drought, moderate frost and most soil types. 

Maintenance:

*  Relatively low maintenance, with occasional prunning to maintain shape if desired. 

Sunlight:

*  Prefers full sun to partial shade. 

Watering:

*  Requires moderate to low watering once established after planting.
