DESCRIPTIONS:

CROTONS PETRA 'CADIAEUM VARIEGATUM'

Is a colourful crotons with decorative,  yellow,  red and orange colour and changes depending on the season and light conditions, in warm frost-free areas.  Petra enjoys a sheltered patio  or indoor position which makes  a wonderful specimen in a feature pot.  Also great planted in the garden in semi shaded,  well drained position.  Keep soil moist in summer months and slightly dryer in winter.  Fertilize once yearly with slow release Fertilizer at recommended  dosage.  

*  Appearance:

   The Crotons Petra has large, oval-shaped leaves with pointed tips that are a variety of colours,  including green,       red, orange, yellow and pink.  The leaves has distinctive veins that are a paler green.  The colour of the leaves can         change  depending on the season and light conditions. 

*  Sunlight:

    The Crotons Petra needs lots of bright lights, including at least a few hours of direct sunlight each day.  It can also  do well in areas with bright indirect light. 

*  Sensibility:

   The Crotons Petra is sensitive to changes in its environment and may lose some leaves  after repotting. But it          should  recover with new green growth. 

*  Plant Type:

    Perennial/Shrub/Indoor/Shade/Evergreen 

*  Soil Type:

    Crotons Petra prefer a sandy loam soil that retains some moisture but still drained freely is best for Crotons.  It resents wet feet, and well drop leaves if conditions don't suit. Before planting, add compost or well-weathered animal manure and work it through the soil.
