DESCRIPTIONS:

Dietes, commonly known as African Iris or Fortnight Lily, is a hardy,  clumping perennials plant characterised by its sword-like leaves and iris-like flowers.  These plant are native to southern Africa and thrives in full sun  to partial shade.  The leaves form dense clumps and are typically dark green and arching,  providing a textural element to the gardens.  The flowers blooms in spring and summer, with beautiful white, yellow and Violet markings.
