It is an excellent contrast to your other succulents and ideal in decorative bowls, pots or tubs, and in any garden or rockeries. The flowers are long lasting and born on slender stalks up to 25cm tall during spring and early summer. Perfect in sunny windows, Echeveria bloody Mary is easy to grow and is hardy succulents. Try not to leave water setting in the rosette of leaves as this can cause rot. Removal of dead leaves also reduces the likelihood of the plant becoming a heaven of pests. As with all succulents Bloody Mary enjoys plenty of light. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser in the beginning of the season or weekly with liquid solution. Use a balanced 20-20-20 fertiliser at 1/4 strength on mature plants, and a fertiliser with less nitrogen on young plants.
