Ficus Benghalensis Audrey CN: Banyan Tree 17cm

COMMON NAME:  Banyan Tree  / Ficus

Ficus Audrey has a stunning velvety deep green leaves with distinct white veining.  Similar to most Ficus trees, Audrey prefers high level of bright indirect sunlight and will not tolerate low light conditions.   Water moderately, keeping the soil moist but not wet.  Use slow release fertiliser during the growing season and prune to maintain shape and size.  Ficus Audrey bears some resemblance to the Fiddle Leaf Fig plant,  but it swaps out the large violin-shaped leaves, for some that are small, velvety and emerald green,  making Ficus Audrey a real conversation piece that will look, great in your leaving space.  Its striking appearance combined with its easy care requirements makes for effortless ownership.  Suitable as an indoor plant or potted in a large containers.  Audrey will grow to approximately 2m high and 1m wide.   This tree is considered sacred as it is believed to be a tree under which Buddha received enlightenment and can potentially can grow to 30 meters in height with a huge canopy.
