COMMON NAME:  Frangipani 

Plumeria Jakarta Red is a deciduous tree that gives an overall sense of tropical paradise,  peace and tranquillity.   During summer and autumn this particular variety produces sweetly fragrance soft blood-red flowers.   They are ideal feature trees as the colour variations provide excellent contrast against the lance-shaped dark green leaves.   They also grow well in containers and pots.  Plumeria thrive in areas of full sun to  part shade with well drained soil.   They are drought tolerant and can tolerate a range of soil types and requires little maintenance.   It does however require sheltered from frost and cold wind. Keep them dry in winter when the plants is leafless.
