DESCRIPTIONS:

Hibiscus Tradewinds Tonga Wind is a gorgeous compact shrub with stunning large butterfly attracting red flowers which bloom from spring through to summer. The glossy green leaves on this plant contrast beautifully against the vibrant flowers making it a great a addition to your home or garden. Perfect for pots and containers and is ideal for planting around a pool as it does not drop its leaves and adds a tropical feel. Prefers full sun and part sun areas with well drained soils and is light frost tolerant. Prune to encourage dense new growth and apply general purpose fertiliser during the growing season. Hibiscus Tradewinds Tonga Wind will grow to a height of 1.2-1.8m and a width of 1.2-1.8m. Note:  Edible flowers or foliage should be picked fresh from an area that has not been exposed to any gardening chemicals and wash thoroughly before consumption.  Flowers are often intended only as a garnish, and should not be eaten in excess.  If you are unsure whether a flower or foliage is edible, do not eat it; instead consult a Botanist or your health provider.
