DESCRIPTIONS: The Indian Rope Hoya 'Hoya Compacta' is a slow growing, semi succulents Vine with thick, twisted, and curly leaves that give it a rope-like appearance.
Leaves: The leaves are glossy, green, and textured. The variegated version has pale green or yellow centres with darker green margins.
Flowers: AS the plant mature, it produces star-shaped, pink flowers with a red center and white corona. The flowers are lightly perfume, especially at night, and can last up to a week.
Growth: The Indian Rope Hoya is a trailing or climbing vine that can grown in a hanging baskets or given support to climb. It's best grown in a bright, indirect light position, such as by a sunny windows or in a patio.
Watering: Water moderately during the hot summer months and more sparingly during the winter season. The plant prefers a well-aerated, fast- draining potting mix.
Maintenance: The Indian Rope Hoya is a low maintenance and requires no pruning.
