COMMON NAME:  Lily turf

Liriope Evergreen Giant is an attractive clumping Perennial that forms long, green strappy foliage.   During spring through to summer,  this foliage houses blooms of violet flowers that sit high above the foliage.   Main uses for liriope Evergreen Giant include mass plantings, specimen plants and as a border along paths and fencing.  Evergreen Giant is well suited to sandy to clay soil with full and light to heavy shade position.   This variety is unlikely to produce a viable seeds making it a safe alternative as its chance of spreading is restricted.  Water regularly until established after planting.  It is very tough and hardy, barely any maintenance is required.  Trim as desired.
