Magnolia Kay Parris PBR (POT SIZE: 5L )

COMMON NAME: Evergreen Magnolia 

This particular evergreen variety has a dense small tree with dark green glossy leaves and brown velvety undersides.   Kay Parris produces cream-white flowers in months of May, fragrant flowers that contrast against the dark foliage.   Kay Parris differs from other varieties as it has a wavy edges to its foliage, as well as bright pink new growth.  It is a relatively fast growing variety and is ideal for screening or hedging as it can be prune to shape.   It can also be planted in large pot. Plant them in an area of full sun to part shade with well drained soil.   Once established,  Magnolia Kay Parris is hardy and versatile plant that will tolerate a range of conditions and is relatively disease and pest free.   This plant is Waterwise and low maintenance.   After planting water well until established during summer months.   Use a slow release fertiliser during spring.   Kay Parris can grow to a height of 4 metres and a width of 3 metres wide.
