DESCRIPTIONS:

Metrosideros Excelsa Vibrance is a hardy trunked shrub or small tree that forms grey-green foliage.   During summer, Metrosideros Excelsa Vibrance blooms spectacular crimson pincushion flowers that are made up of fluffy stamens.   It is ideal for hedging or screening as the foliage is incredibly dense.  This plant will thrive in a sunny position with moist well drained soil.   Once established this variety will tolerate coastal conditions and relatively low maintenance.   Water well until established and throughout hot drier periods.   Prune as desired to encourage compact growth.   Protect from frost.  Feed with long term slow release fertiliser during late winter.   Metrosideros Excelsa Vibrance can grow to a height of metres high and a width of 5 metres wide.
