DESCRIPTIONS:

Philodendron Shangri-La is an attractive tropical shrub, a compact version of Philodendron with deeply divided fresh green leaves.   It is perfect for indoor garden in a well lit position or protected shady outdoor areas.  Prefers moist well drained soil in a frost free environment.  Apply liquid fertiliser during growing season.  Keep warm and protected from drought.  Philodendron Shangri-La can grow to a height and width of 1 metre.

How to care the Philodendron Shangri-La:

To care for a Philodendron Shangri-La is to provide bright, indirect sunlight, warm temperatures and high humidity.  You can also water them regularly and feed it with a balance fertiliser during the growing season. 

Sunlight:

*  Place the plant near a sunny windows in a spot with bright,  indirect sunlight. 

*  Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves. 

Watering :

*  Water the plant when the top 2 inches of soil are dry. 

*  Ensure that the soil is consistently moist but not waterlogged. 

*  Water less frequently in the summer. 

Temperatures:

*  Keep the plant in temperature between 60 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit. 

*  Avoid cold drafts or temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit 

Humidity:

*  Increase humidity by misting  the leaves, by using the pebbles and tray, or setting up the humidifier.
