DESCRIPTIONS:
Philodendron White Wizard, has a stunning variegated leaves in a bright green with patches of White. Leaves are larger and rounder than the White Princess. This plant needs bright indirect -sunlight. More Highly variegated plants need a brighter light position due to less chlorophyll in the leaf and browning will occur in the White patches if the light is not enough. Allow to dry between watering. White Wizard needs a balanced water soluble fertiliser that is high in Nitrogen, to helps the plant to produce more chlorophyll, it can helps to maintain the White variegation on the leaves. Mature Size: 24 to 36 inches
How to Care your Philodendron White Wizard:
* Light:
Place the plant in a location with several hours of bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage the parts of the leaves.
* Watering:
Water the plant thoroughly when the soil is completely dry. Ensure excess water drained from the bottom of the pot. Avoid letting the plant sit in water, can can cause root rot.
* Soil:
Use a well draining potting mix for indoor plant. Line the bottom of the pot with pebbles or clay balls to promote drainage.
* Repotting:
Repot the plant every few years, using a larger pot than the previous one. Looking for signs of roots boundness, like roots growing out of the drainage holes or circling the pot.
* Fertilising:
Fertilise the plant regularly with a slow release fertiliser.
* Humidity:
The plants enjoys the higher humidity levels, but it can tolerate normal household humidity. You can mist the plant occasionally or place it on a dish clay balls to improve humidity.
* Growing as a Climber:
Provide a moss pole or other natural structure for the plant to climb. Gently tie the stems to the post with wire to encourage the plant to climb.
