DESCRIPTIONS:

Rhaphiolepis Apple Blossom,  also known as Indian Hawthorn,  is a neat rounded evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage.   In spring masses of Star shaped  pink flowers tinged with white appeared.  Ideal for hedging,  screening, pots and suitable for coastal gardens.   Also ideal for mixing into shrubberies and all around general garden areas.  This adaptable plant can thrive in a wide range of mixed soil and prefers full sun position.   Trim lightly after flowering to promote new growth.   Apply mulch in spring to keep roots dry out from hot summer.  Apple Blossom can grow up to 1.5 metres high and 2 metres wide.
