DESCRIPTIONS:

Rosmarinus Portuguese Pink is serves as both kitchen herbs and an ornamental plants that adds beauty to any perennial garden.   Vibrant Pink flowers appear in abundance during winter and contrast beautifully with its fresh, highly fragrance, broad mid-green leaves.  Due to its sturdy upright growth habit,  Portuguese Pink makes for an ideal hedge for any backyard garden and is great for adding a Mediterranean feel or letting it grow unrestrained in your veggie patch, picking as you require.   These attractive herbs have a multitude of uses for their foliage and flowers,  like flavouring meats.  Some people have been known to use the aromatic essential oil for other purposes such as relaxing aching joints and even as an antiseptic.   Growing best in hot dry position with moist well drained soil.   It is drought tolerant once established and prefers fairly dry during winter. Prune after flowering to maintain a bushy and compact growth habit.   Portuguese Pink grows to a height of 1.5m high and a width of up to 2m wide.
