DESCRIPTIONS:

COMMONLY KNOWN  as the Giant Bird of Paradise,  this large Evergreen plant produces very long, broad leaves,  resembling a palm fronds.   Large striking bird-like white and dark blue flowers  appear during spring and summer.   Provides stunning contrast against the blush-green foliage.  Strelitzia Nicolai will add a definite tropical paradise feel to any garden or landscape.   An ideal feature plant in the garden bed or large containers.   Plant in an area of full sun to part shade with well drained soil.   It is relatively low maintenance.   Keep soil moist during the growing season and through extended hot periods. 

Strelitzia Nicolai can grow to a height of 6mtres high and a width of 3 metres wide.
