STROMANTHE Tri-colour 20cm

DESCRIPTIONS:

The Stromanthe Sanguinea 'Tricolor', also known as the Triostar or Tricolor Prayer Plant,  is a striking houseplant with variegated leaves in shades of green,  cream, and pink, and maroon undersides that fold up at night. 

Appearance:

*  The plant features  Spear- shaped leaves with a unique variegation pattern,  showing a mix of green, cream, and pink colours on the upper surface,  while the undersides are a vibrant maroon or burgundy. 

Prayer Plant Behaviour:

*  Like other members of the prayer plant family  (Marantaceae), the Stromanthe Triostar will fold its leaves upwards at night,  revealing the maroon colour undersides. 

Country of Origin:

*  Native to the tropical rainforest of Brazil. 

How to Care:

*  Light - Prefers bright,  indirect sunlight,  avoiding direct sunlight 

*  Watering  - Required evenly moist,  well drained soil,  but avoid overwatering. 

*  Humidity  - Thrives in a humid environment;  considering using a humidifier or pebbles tray with water.

*  Temperatures  - Tolerate temperatures down to 40 degrees Fahrenheit,  but prefers warmer temperatures. 

*  Fertilising  - Fertilize with a balance liquid fertiliser during the growing season.
