DESCRIPTIONS:
Thymus Serpyllum Var. Albus, also known as "White Creeping Thyme" or Creeping White Thyme", is a hardy, evergreen Herb with aromatic foliage and tiny white flowers, ideal for ground covering or planting between pavers.
Appearance:
* Forms a dense, mat - like ground cover.
* Features small, oval, bright yellow-green, hairy, aromatic leaves.
* Has terminal clusters of small white flowers.
* can grow up to 3cm high and 80cm wide.
Growing Conditions:
* Prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade.
* Thrives in well-draining soil, including sandy, rocky, or gravelly soils.
* Drought tolerant and prefers less fertile soil.
* Can withstand temperatures down to at least -15 degrees Celsius.
Uses:
* Excellent groundcover, especially in sunny areas.
* Ideal for planting between paving stones, on steps, in rockeries or spilling down walls.
* The aromatic leaves and flowers can be used for culinary purposes, similar to common Thyme.
* Edible flowers and leaves.
