DESCRIPTIONS:
Viola Hederacea is an attractive sprawling plant with green rounded leaves and small mauve, white and Violet flowers which appear throughout the year but mainly spring and summer. Viola Hederacea is a fast growing, low maintenance plant ideal for a flat ground cover or a lawn substitute for shady areas of the garden. Can be use for containers and hanging baskets. It tolerate a shady to partly shaded position and moist well drained soil.
Viola Hederacea grows to a height of 10cm high with a spread of 1m wide. NOTE: Edible flowers or foliage should be picked fresh from an area that has not been exposed to any gardening chemicals and wash thoroughly before consumption. Flowers are often intended only as a garnish, and should not be eaten in excess. If you are unsure, do not eat it, instead consult a Botanist or your health provider.
