DESCRIPTIONS:

Westringia Blue Gem  produces masses of the most vivid purple-blue flowers that look stunning against the narrow grey-green foliage of this Australian Native shrub.   Westringia Blue Gem is an ideal feature plant, excellent for mass planting and can be prune into a hedge.   Plant in an area of full sun to partly shade with well drained soil.   Blue Gem is low maintenance tolerating most soil types and is drought and coastal tolerant once established.   Although this plant will tolerate most soil types, ensure that the soil are not constantly wet.  Prune once or twice a year to maintain dense foliage growth.   Fertilise annually with a long term slow release fertiliser.  Blue Gem can grow to a height of 1.5m and a width of 1.3m wide.
