DESCRIPTIONS:

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow plant  also known as "Brunfelsia Latifolia" is a tropical shrub with fragrant flowers that change colour overtime. A compact form of the ever popular perrenial, evergreen shrub with lush green leaves.

*  Appearance:  

The plant has glossy,  ovate leaves and produces showy clusters of tubular flowers that start out deep purple,  the fade to lilac and finally white. The flowers are pansy-like and have white throats.

*  Mature size:  

The plant can grow up to 8 ft tall and a width of 6 ft wide.

*  Climate:

The plant prefers a warm, humid environment with full sun to part shade position.  It is native to Brazil and can be grown in a glasshouse or conservatory. 

*  Soil type:

The plant prefers moist, well  drained , humus rich soil. 

*  How to care:

The plant should be watered during dry spells and fertilise once a year during the spring.  To keep the plant compact,  pinch out the tips to encourage dense healthy growth. 

*  Uses:

The plant can be used as a screening or hedging, in garden beds or make a border or as a specimen plant.  It's also good choice for containers planting, small gardens, cottage gardens and sensory gardens.

The plant produces berries that are toxic to pets. Symptoms of poisoning include fever,  vomiting,  muscle tremors,  staggering and seizures.
